The A.E. Wildlife Conservation Center and Spruce Acres Refuge provides a home for those
      animals that are unable to be released back into the wild. The Center has become an
      educational resource in the field of wildlife and environmental conservation and safety. Every
      year, the Center welcomes school groups, scouts, and many visitors from around the country
      and around the world.








 



  
Center Schedule:  We are open from May 1st to Octorber 31st, 10am - 4pm, Monday thru Saturday

    Visitors are required to call ahead and make an appointment for a guided tour. This is for your
    safety, that of the animals, and so that we can give you the benefit of our attention and
    experience

                        (Dogs are not allowed on the Refuge grounds for your safety and theirs)


   
Admission:     Free for members and children 15 and under/ $10 for all others

 Directions:    The Center is located 14 miles south of Houlton, ME off of Rt 1 in Amity, ME. Take
                      a right turn at the sign, proceed approx. 1/2 mile. We are located on the right at
                      101 Lycette Rd. Parking is available next to our educational building at 105 Lycette Rd.
                      Large group parking (2 or more buses) is located at 111 Lycette Rd.
